July 29-My new "cute" haircut

I was eating cupcakes with my new friend Kelly, when someone from a salon awkwardly walked up to us and in a monotone voice without taking a breath tried to sell the person behind us $400 dollars worth of services for $45. I wanted it! Looking past the girl's lack of intonation I paid for the promotion and made an appointment for a haircut later that day.

As I was sitting waiting for my appointment, I was analyzing all of the hairdressers wondering which one I would get. The one who walked up to me, Candace, was young, cute, and hip. I couldn't help comparing myself. I'm not so young, a little cute (except when under the harsh lights of a salon), and definitely not hip. She asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. I didn't know. As my conditioning treatment was drying, she brought over magazines and suggested that I get a short cut because, "your hair is (cringing) stringy". Stringy? Look at my lush, full hair.





So now that my hair is short, it is definitely not "(cringing) stringy" anymore. It is now "cute". Of course I would prefer "Hot" but I'll take what I can get. However, when I got home and told Luciano my concern about it being cute, he set to work to create a hot style. The video below is the style he came up with. He said it was like a tango dancer's style. Apparently there is not much hotter than that to an Argentine man.
